title pic Join My Virtual Club – Earn FREE products!

Posted by Leanne on May 8, 2012

I have had several customers recently expressed an interest in some of the gorgeous hostess-exclusive stamp sets and papers, especially since the launch of our Summer Mini Catalogue!

However, I understand that some of feel that you don’t have the time, space, or budget to do this – and I don’t think it’s fair that you have to miss out on exclusive product and free goodie – do you? No! Exactly.

So I am starting up a virtual party for you all!

Colloquially known as a Stampers 10 Group, this is a way for you all to spread your spending, whilst still enjoying the benefits of a hostess party – how great is that?!  It’s very straightforward, and will immediately earn you a FREE copy of each current catalogue as they are released, so you’ll be amongst the first to get your hands on hot products and fresh releases…

All you have to do is commit to spending a minimum of £15 per month on product (+ very reduced postage*) for 10 months. Each month I will contact you all to ask what you would like to order. The 10 members take it in turns to be the virtual ‘hostess’ – when it is your turn, you can claim a MINIMUM of £25 FREE hostess pounds to spend on goods of your choice from the catalogue, in addition to your order for that month.  You can even INCREASE the amount of FREE goods by increasing the size of your order during your ‘hostess’ month – simply collect any extra orders from your friends, colleagues and family, and add them to your own.  Depending on the size of the order, you could earn between 1 and 4 HALF-PRICE items of UNLIMITED value and over £120 of FREE hostess pounds to spend!

You can also opt to take MULTIPLE spaces – why not take two and double the benefits?

So why wait? Register your interest today and, as soon as we have 10 members, you will receive your catalogues, Stampers 10 agreement, details of your hostess month, and be on your way to earning your FREE hostess pounds immediately.

Call, text or email – my details are in the sidebar – or leave a comment on this post with a contact detail, and I’ll be in touch.

Love what you do, and share what you love! Leanne

* A postage explanation – Stampin’ Up! standard postage is £4.95 for unlimited order value.  I charge only 50p a month if you would like to collect your goods, or live within delivery distance and can offer me cake.  If you would prefer me to post them out, all I ask is an extra £2.50 per month towards postage and packaging, and I’ll even cover any excess if your parcel is more expensive to post.

title pic Easy Gift Bag Template

Posted by Leanne on May 7, 2012

Hi,

As I’m feeling totally inspired right now by the gorgeous product available in our Summer Mini Catalogue, I wanted to share a template for a lovely easy giftbox… This will comfortably hold 4 4x4inch cards and envelopes (10x10cm), so is perfect for a set of notelets, or you could pop in some chocolate and a facemask for a pamper party – even a pair of cufflinks for Father’s Day!

Doesn’t it look fab in Basic Gray?  I’ve used the new Framelits to cut mats in Real Red and Whisper White, then I stamped the main image from Bordering on Romance and coloured it using my inkpads and blender pen.  Finally I attached to the bag with dimensionals, and used the narrow Baja Breeze taffetta ribbon.

It looks more complex than it is, promise!

Basically you score an A4 sheet as follows:
On the long side, 0.5 and 5.25 inches from each end – then on the short side, 1.75 inches from each end (all of these are valley folds)

Then you create the mountain folds (easiest way is to measure 1.75 inches outward from each inner line and connect the mark to the intersection, as detailed in red)
Finally, apply glue to the sections marked in green, and fold these into the centre, this will force the box to assume it’s shape.

I hope that you find it useful – I have full print templates that I’ll include in your order if you wish – just let me know!

Have a great Bank Holiday Monday!

Posted by Leanne on May 1, 2012

Literally, right HERE for the PDF or HERE for the Flash online browser!

And we are having a blog hop to celebrate, so you may have reached me from Frenchie Jo’s blog.

I want to showcase the gorgeous things I made at Demo-to-demo Training with Jules Kettlewell, using the new products – a lovely card and bag set (which WILL feature in an upcoming class, with a few tweaks, stay tuned!) and also this layout of my counsin’s little boy and his big brother – aaaw!

You can tell that we’ve used the lovely new Twitterpated Designer Series Paper (the blue patterns that you can see), Framelits (our FAB new dies – move over Nesties!), and the gorgous  new stap set Bordering On Romance which I used to create the white floral ‘paper’ by colouring in the images with my SU inks, markers and blendypen! – but we also have BAKER’S TWINE, and the SIMPLY SCORED SCOREBOARD with new DIAGONAL PLATE, PLEATED SATIN RIBBON, and SCENTED EMBOSSING POWDER – and so much more I’ll get told off for using any more capitals :D

So click HERE to download your copy, or email me – leanne@beautifulimpressions.co.uk – and I’ll post you out a real one, and give you some free products with your Summer Mini order – I love surprises, and am sure you will too!

Once again, here’s a close-up of the cards, which were so quick and simple to make – no measuring, just those lovely Framelits! These will be featured in a class in the next couple of weeks – if you’d like further details, send me your email address and I’ll add you to my announcement list :)

Right, if you are following the hop, it’s off to Michelle’s blog next…

Thanks for reading, Leanne x

title pic Say Goodbye…

Posted by Leanne on April 26, 2012

Hello everyone!

I’m sorry to have been away for so long, but we have a new Summer Mini from 1st May and I’ve been a busy bee making samples and pre-ordering to show you the lovely new products and tools – can anyone say “scoring board with interchangeable metric, imperial and diagonal envelope plates”?  How about pleated ribbon? SU’s answer to nesties? Or hot air balloons?  Actually, with that last one in mind, I’m counting down from today to the end of the Spring Mini *sniff* and highlighting the things you may want to get before they’re gone!

For example, should you happen to come across a hot air balloon stamp set in the new catalogue on the 1st May, wouldn’t you be kicking yourself that you didn’t order the Cupcake Builder Punch from the current one?  The ‘icing’ on the cake is the PERFCT cloud for your balloon to wander through – just look at these samples from the US, where they are lucky enough to have both items out at the same time…

Annette Elliott’s sample shows how you can punch the ‘clouds’ with the Cupcake Builder Punch, then use them as a mask to sponge your ink through and create lovely soft clouds.  For a bolder look, Mary Fish has used the punched shape on Stampin’ Dimensionals.  In each case the new hot air balloon set is called Up, Up & Away, and I can’t wait to show it you you – perfect for male cards, travel journals, bon voyage, moving cards, and any Wizard of Oz enthusiast – a big trend at the moment!

But you’re not going to be able to do this if you don’t order fast!

Also, don’t forget the current promotion, every order over £45 gets you one of 4 free packs of Designer Series Paper! Choose from Beyond The Garden, Nursery Nest, Berry Blossoms or Pocketful of Posies – click HERE to see the full details…

So, if you want anything from the Spring Mini – please let me know right away via text, email, or commenting below (don’t forget to leave me contact details!) – otherwise your chance of making these cards will float up, up and away!
